What does Hebrew sound like to you?

Sounds sorta like Assyrian with a German accent. The European influence in the pronunciation is quite obvious, but it still sounds more Semitic than European though. Overall, it sounds pretty unique. I've actually watched many of that guys videos so find Hebrew to sound quite familiar and wouldn't ever mistake it for another language.

Yiddish sounds obviously German influenced. I guess different Jewish groups speak with different accents. European Jews may sound more Germanic and Polish. Jews from North Africa and Middle East would sound less European.

They don't pronounce harsh H sound like in Arabic. It is still guttural but sounds like KH sound in Georgian and Caucasus languages. And it makes a big difference to the overall sound because harsh H in Arabic is really bad ass.

Overall it sounds a lot like our dialects of Neo Aramaic. Many words that sound similar ie, Tov=well, good? which is Tawa in Assyrian Aramaic.
The presence of V instead of W makes it sound superficially closer to Iranian dialects of Assyrian Neo Aramaic.

Jews reduced Arabic bad ass H sound to guttural KH sound which sounds for example like in Uyghur language.

Sounds like one of Semitic languages but it is different than Arabic one. German effect is clear I think.
