    Nice thread.
Sadly it's the farthest language to Arabic of all Semitic family, German influence is noticeable, I remarked that old people have a more subtle flow, in the second video, starting from 2:00, the old man sounds Maghrebi as fuck, the way he pronounce "kaf" give it from beginning.

One little addition, if you want to sound like an Israeli, just add the maximum of "kh", "m", and "sh": khashamish shamomim mkhashom shmakhamakh... I swear it is made at 50% of these 3 letters.

That's probably not too far off though lol.
Mem and Shin show up quite often but the reason we are known for our ability to cough up phlegm is because we have two letters denoting that sound Khaf/Kaf (one is Kh. the other K) and Het which used to be more of an Arabic throat sound but is now exactly the same as the Khaf throat sound because the former was used in Yiddish and the latter was not so early days Israelis could not pronounce it properly.

I don’t hear any Slavic influence.

That makes sense. To me Hebrew sounds like a mix between a middle eastern and European language. I don’t hear much Slavic influence. Probably because I’m exposed to a lot of Slavic languages.

It sounds different to Arabic but similar indeed, I think there is some European influence.
