It sounds pretty. I always loved the language... and his songs:

That is in fact incorrect. Modern Hebrew became standardized all across Israel and has only one verity. I'm taking old people out of account of course because they have accents from whichever diaspora community they belong to. My grandfather for example is a Yemenite Jew and speaks Hebrew with the throaty e7 and 3ain sounds (as proper Hebrew should actually be pronounced) but the younger generation speaks it all the same regardless of backgrounds.

    Syriac + French.

I think there's a clear Germanic influence, especially with the Hebrew pronunciation of R, but the flow doesn't sound like German at all to me. Much more similar to Romance languages. Since French is a Romance language with a Germanic R, I think it's the best choice.

The similarities to Syriac are obvious since the languages are closely-related and because Syriac seems to also have more Kh than 7 (7et) compared to Arabic, which is closer to how Modern Hebrew is pronounced. If 7et (and other letters) were pronounced correctly or more closely to the classical pronunciation, it would sound closer to Levantine Arabic.

I wonder what difference it makes for people to hear Hebrew pronounced in a more correct way, like in this song.

He pronounces the 7et and 3ain sounds and rolls his R, does it sound more Semitic? I'm a native Hebrew speaker so I'm biased and admittedly it still doesn't resemble Arabic to my ears.

Apart from the H sound it's not bad, certainly more tolerable than Arabic or Chinese.

Here's an even better example for more accurate Hebrew pronunciation:

I too am biased and it doesn't really sound like Arabic to me but I presume it does to others as the phonology is almost all the same.
