Bulgarians.. closer looking to Poles, Russians, or Greeks?

Judging by these pictures, I would not look too out of place for Bulgaria.

From the choices you gave, I would say Greeks. However, in my opinion they are actually quite similar to the Southern French.

I know when i am behind a Bulgarian in a supermarket checkout queue because their head shape is unmistakeable, also invariably they have grey eyes, and a moustache just like their mothers.

I'm kinda terrible at classifying people.I think it depends on where they have their roots in Bulgaria.Near Black Sea,close to borders with Romania,etc.
In Greece for instance you can tell the difference between someone who lives in Epirus,from someone who lives in Crete or Rhodes.Some of the above could possibly pass for Greeks too.

I think Bulgarians would be more comparable to Romanians and other South Slavs first.. which means they're all probably closer to a Greek than a Russian or Pole.

well, In all fairness, there a few who could pass as Russians. They may be a minority, but they do exist.
