    portuguese princess, you seem to be the chief instigator here. when did you visit eastern europe or the balkans last time? northern romanians look NOTHING like southern and western romanians look nothing like eastern. i assume grosso modo bulgarian are indeed closer to greeks but it is funny to generalise in such puzzled regions like the balkans or eastern europe

    I've only briefly visited Bulgaria, and I saw many different types there, but maybe I'll say Greece.

    There are likely a minority of Russian looking types in all Balkan countries.

    I don't think Bulgarians look like anyone except Bulgarian since the Bulgarian people is a distinct fusion of Turkish, Slavic and Romanized Thracian peoples.
