I'll be honest, I'm not sure if i understand your former post to the fullest degree. The grammar is a bit off and I'm very tired.


But going off of what i CAN understand, i don't necessarily disagree with your point(s), they're just not standards i do a good job of upholding. I'm not very cuddly and/or modable like most women, which makes it difficult for men to appreciate me to the fullest extent (at least i think). "Adjusting to the situation" isn't always easy to do when it contradicts your natural character.

I'm also somewhat insecure about certain subjects and/or standards pertaining the fairer sex, and i often find myself coming off as surly, unsure, and possibly neurotic when these subjects are addressed.

No. As a matter of fact, lavish services and embalming are becoming less and less favorable among the general population. Judging by what I've personally witnessed and the research I've conducted over the years; most people find expensive funerals (which generally require some level of preservation of the deceased in order to be properly showcased) unnecessary. They're looking for more "quick, cheap and easy" ways of taking care of their loved one while others like the idea of "green" burials that don't use corrosive and environmentally harmful substances such as formaldehyde ( which is the key ingredient in embalming fluid). Overall, cremations tend to be the big thing on my side of the USA. We only get one burial a week, if that. There's also a ton of cool things you can do with cremated remains such as being made into jewelry or coins, some might favor this over their loved one slowly rotting in the ground.

Mind you, none of this is necessarily a bad thing (some FD's might disagree). Times are changing, New trends are coming afloat so we must adapt to the current demands.

I wish they'd just go back to putting someone in a pine box or cloth and burying them directly in the ground. Can't do that since burial vaults are required by law.

Is a feminine ability, women are better than men in this aspect. By the way you write you have this ability that is a signal of intelligence (persuasion). Did you ever think that maybe you do not want some men who you talk?

Your bad mood may be related to your age, you are in transition.
If man did not overcome his natural resistance, you do not need to talk about certain subjects, just tell the truth that you do not feel comfortable. Change the subject without making a fight.

Most people my age that I've discussed this with have a flippant attitude or say they want to be cremated. I want to be buried in the ground with a traditional tombstone but I have anachronistic tendencies.

Well, I've been telling people for years that after i die I'll become a taxidermy project. Y'know, made into a coat hanger that will be passed down generation to generation.
