Default How common is it for a European child to not be blond?

In my extended family basically everyone is or was blond as a baby/child except for my brother (he has very dark hair). This makes me think that it would be very weird for a Northern European child to not have light hair.

It is safe to say that the majority of Northern European children have blond or at least light hair, though a good number are dark-haired and not weird. What would be weird in my case is those with black hair.

It's not common in White children. Blond hair is very common among White children in North America, the overwhelming origin of White North Americans is Northern European so it's not surprising, however, black hair is now getting more common in American children (blacks, spics) than blond as the demographic browning of America continues. We see blond white kids getting bullied in America by non-whites.

Albania is not in Northern Europe, so it's normal. These are Albanian kids btw.

Yeah it is called infantile blondness. In Belgium, it is 50% to 55% in Wallonia and 55% to 68% in Flanders. This is from physical anthropological studies. Usually, in nations north of us, it is even more common.

That is because they aren't Belgian. They are German, Swedish, Italian...
