There is NO typical look for the country. The looks are so varied which is not unexpected since Vardarska is in the center of the Balkans. A crossroads for many different peoples.

like I always say, virtually any Europid subrace can pass as a Balkanoid

but to be fair, FMN, I think the swarthy/ light ratio in Macedonia would be more like 75%/25%, If you count anyone with dark/ dark brown hair as Swarthy.

I don't think just the color of your hair matters. It's a combination of your facial structure, hair color, skin tone and eye color that defines whether you are a swarthy or not.

For instance, I have hazel eyes and light brown hair but my skin is actually fair and sensitive to tanning. My phenotype is typically Dinarid coupled with Nordid influences which is typical in Serbia and very rare in Bulgaria. It's a combination of different features, always.

It's never about a guy's eyes or hair or skin tone or guy's face but a combination of all basic human features.

I have a non-blood relative who is quite tanned but has blue eyes and an Alpine phenotype and that makes him a non-swarthy despite his tanned skin because his eyes and his phenotype is so dominant to make the tan not so significant in determining one's "swarthyness".

They not just resemble Bulgarians they are Bulgarians. Portugal princess, I dare to say that you can not be compete enough to just post random pictures of people calling themselves Macedonians, Bulgarians, Bosniaks... etc because you don't have much personal experience and you can not be sure are they from pure background or not...

The North to Northeast of Macedonia is Serbian with most of Southern Macedonia Bulgarian which correlates with history. Don't ramble your typical ignorant Bulgarian propaganda, they r just bugarski!

Albania/Kosovo doesn't have the military power, nor will they ever gain such to defeat Serbia in an actual war so further splintering of Serbian territories are mere dreams only.
