Jesus could have very well been blonde haired and blue eyed. His tribe was Judah. I'm not sure. Some of the Hebrews looked very white, while others were darker.Originally Posted by tipirneni

Highly unlikely and most probably just made up. Blond hair and blue eyes were, and still are, very uncommon in the Levant.

He could have been fair skinned, though. We don't really know. There were Hebrew tribes who looked White Euro and then there were others who looked more Middle Eastern/Arab.

Fact still is that the vast majority of Levantine groups were(still are) darker when compared to Europeans, Jesus was most definitely darker and prolly looked like the average Jew/Hebrew.

The way they portray the "real" Jesus as being a 5'5 Dark Olive skinned Neanderthal with a puzzled look on this face, is just as inaccurate as the blonde haired 6 ft blue eyed Jesus we see in most painting and movie adaptations.
