Default Does you country have a state religion?

Does the country you are living in have an official state religion as specified in the constitution or not?

My country Turkey does not have an official religion. Islam as a state religion was abolished in 1928. And the principle of secularism/laïcité entered the constitution in 1937.

It actually does, but it doesn't feel like it.

England, the Church of England is the official established church, headed by the Queen, but nowadays it doesn't have the pull it once had.

Catholicism was the state religion in Brazil until 1889 when the Republicans overthrew the Emperor, since then we have a laic state and Atheism and Lutheran doctrines are becoming more popular than Catholicism, sadly.

Yeah it is Presbyterian but has no role in the Scottish Parliament unlike England/UK with Anglican that is all linked.

No. Although the House of Orange is tied to the Protestant Church in the Netherlands (PKN - formerly Dutch Reformed Church). When HRH Princess Irene married Carlos Hugo, the Duke of Parma in 1964 (div. in 1981) she had to convert to Catholicism and that caused mayhem up and down the country (including in Parliament). When our present King (back then still crown prince) married our current Queen, both retained their religion (she is Catholic, he, of course, Protestant) and there were no problems whatsoever. And Parliament ? Not a peep. They were more concerned about her father's past.. and rightfully so.

Wake up and smell the coffee.
