Same problem you will see in Romanian too. This language used in the past a Cyrillic alphabet too. Letters like ă, î, â, ș, ț are equivalent of letters э, ы, ш, ц. Even if the language is of Latin origin, some sounds need to be written with diacritics, which most of Romanians, even here on TA don't use, and sometimes can create some confusion for a person who don't understand Romanian. Vor exemple expresion like: "Vino puțin" with means: "come here for a second", most of the time will be written like: "Vino putin", without letter ț, which some who don't understand Romanian, will translate like: "come Putin".))
