Default Brazilians are mostly white ?

I know that a lot of Brazil is euro but I used to hear about the mixed population and etc . I have never been to Brazil but I meet Brazilian tourists all the time in Times Square and when I worked in the airport and every single one of them were white except one guy I remember who looked mulatto but he may have moved to Brazil from another Latin country . About half the Brazilians I met also have italian surnames which makes sense since Brazil has the largest Italian diaspora outside Italy ( surprising ? Huh ) . Brazilian people are very good looking by the way

No, Brazilians are overwhelming mixed being however the euro component the most substancial, a guy like Neymar is probably more than 65% European.
Population of quasi or fully European descent would be probably 20 to 25 % and being more relevant in the Southern part of the country. Which in general numbers is large.

This is my analysis, but Brazilians can give a better inside on the matter.

You see white tourists because they are the ones with the money to travel .

The blacks are poor and live in poor areas.

Hmm it may be that most the Brazilians I’ve met are from São Paulo that may be one of the more euro population cities

Mix is the poor population, the travelers or immigrants that you find need to catch a plane it's expensive. Middle class brazilian in general is 95% euro.

As a percentage of the population, Argentina. Brazil is in number, many Italian immigrants were from the north. Current president of Brazil is of Italian origin.
