The NHS is the major socialistic UK feature. The NHS is an extreme form of socialism as even doctors are federal employees in the UK, not many countries go this far. The UK also has relatively higher taxes than the USA. However, they are both some form of the Anglo-Saxon model.

Major socialistic features of the USA are in forms of education like libraries and public schools.

I can't speak on Britain. Utility companies are governed by legislatures and committees, water/sewer is pretty local, gas electricity larger. Airports are overwhelmingly owned by local/regional port authorities.

Like I said, in Britain all those things have been privatised, even if the State subsidises them at times.

The USA is very much ran by local government. The closest most people get to seeing a federal government employee is the Mail Man.

Politically the UK is much more Socialistic. Jeremy Corbyn would never get very far in American politics. He is very far to the Left.

I agree that the UK is more left-leaning on the whole than the US. All the same, Bernie Sanders did a lot better than what was anticipated.

Political language corruption is the premise of "Newspeak", for anecdote it is the official language of Oceania, the huge block in George Orwell's 1984 novel and it comprises USA, where all this political correctness started.
