Reading that, made me realize that I was in an IQ marathon with a fastest sprinter out of montenegro......The unmanifest laws to which magnetism of eros is subject do not necessarily seek the absolute masculinity in a woman's case, or the absolute femininity in that of a man. The cause for that lies in the fact that sex is a metaphysical category before it is physical, and that the vast majority of people are not sexually split evenly in the suprasensible, pre-conditioned sphere, no matter what their, to use a biological term, "primary sexual characteristic" is. Therefore, the laws of attraction (not talking about the cases of involuted forms, like lust) seek to connect the individuals which fit each other complementarily in order to symbolize a state of overcoming human dualism and attainment of primordial unity.
The absolute masculine principle is the one of transcendence, sufficiency, passive activity (in sense of unmoved mover), permanence and unchangeability, impassability. His is the matterless Form, and his symbols are Sun, light, and heavens.
Its absolute feminine counterpart is the one of earthliness, need, active passivity (in sense of identifying with action - therefore not truly acting, but unwittingly being acted upon), change, and temporarity. Her is the formless Matter, symbolized by telluric darkness and waters.
In eros proper, woman (non-being/Becoming) affixes herself to a man (Being) for she finds a limit to her restlessness in his stability. Only through selfless attachment to another can she partake in transcendence.
A man is self-sufficient, yet he, along with others means of ascent, can benefit from sexual magnetism through its unifying and dis-individualizing properties (this can lead to ascent, but also, and perhaps more commonly, to a fall to sub-individual state - hence why for him it is akin to a double-edged sword). To refer to Hindu tradition relayed in one of Upanishads, when a man loves (this does not mean attachment) a woman, in a true way, he loves her not for herself, but for the love of atman (Self).
This, in short, is how pure attraction works (even though in most it acts unconsciously and sends them into a confused state of feelings), and more importantly, its causes.
As for the meaning of "masculinity" in purely mechanical and most superficial sense as is commonly understood in this confused and dark age, I cannot help but notice how, in actuality, it in many aspects is a manifesfation of naught but of feminine principles.
