Dark Poles, where do they from?

Its general rule among balto-slavs i guess, Balts are a bit weaker in tanning, but nothing compared to Brits.

I know most of Poles are lighter, but I'm just curious about where this dark, even very dark look come from, since Poland seemingly has a low percentage of gypsy/Roma population.

Yes the majority of Poles (55%) have light hair ( from the lightest blond to medium brown shades) and approximately 69%-72% have light eyes ( blue/gray/green/hazel). The majority has a "Nordish" complexion due to large proportions of Neo-Danubians, Norids, East Baltids, Ladogans and a minority of Nordids. Though a good number have dark hair or dark eyes too. Some Poles are Alpinids, Dinarids, North Pontids, Pre-Slavics, Pontids.
