Alevis pray together as in both genders and have a cemi as their worship place. There is also the Bektashi Sufi movement which is very similar to Alevism, and can be found among Albanians. Yes the Druze split from Ismaili Shiaism and adopted a lot of neoplotanic, gnostic traditions. They do believe in reincarnation. The Alawites divas well, the Alwaite sect originated in southern Iraq before it moved into Syria where the message was more conducive to the local Christian and perhaps semi-pagans of the area. The Alawites are 12er Shias but they also have lots of Christian influenced Xmas is an important holiday and so is Easter. They use wine in their rituals.
