    That's why France became a country of immigration, but it was european until 1960-1970.

    I'm a french spanish mix. My spanish part goes back mostly from french Algeria in 19th century, some even in 1840's years ! But i have millions french ethnic ancestors in my blood too ! French people is not dead.

    To be honest i would say most young white french (more than 50 and maybe 60%) have at least one foreign ancestry, mostly southern but sometimes belgian or polish.
