Default Gauls/Kelts related archaeological discoveries from Romania

So, to gain a little more popularity between Romanians on these forums, I opened this thread.
There are some Celtic/Gauls archaeological related discoveries on the land of Romania.
Now Celts/Gauls were a group of ethnicities, with different languages, different physical looks and some things in common.
Something like today Slavs are, or so.

Some Kelts were also present on the land of Romania and this is attested by archaeological discoveries but also by some names of some places.

    EDIT:
If other people want to contribute to this thread, they are welcome to post things here.

First, the Celtic helmet of Ciumesti, from Satu Mare county:
    https://www1.agerpres.ro/engleza-des...ounty-12-50-44

"The helmet of Ciumesti was discovered by chance in 1960 by a local who was digging to build stables for the local agricultural cooperative. Besides the iron helmet topped by a hawk a chainmail shirt of iron, bronze greaves and fibulas, a ring, two bracelets and various clay vessels were also found. The tomb, unique in the world the same as the helmet, was named the helmet tomb of Ciumesti.

The items were moved by the authorities to the Baia Mare Museum, with the helmet having been further transferred to the National History Museum in Bucharest because of its special significance, where it is still on display.

The helmet from the 4th century B.C. has fine details, a neck protector, cheek protectors, with the claws of a hawk, which wings are kept in place by hinges to allow it to move when worn, soldered to the upper part of the helmet.

Historians argue that the warrior to whom the helmet belonged was a very important person, with the helmet and other accompanying items setting him apart from the other community fighters and making him conspicuous in other communities.

Several historical sources mention Celtic chieftains wearing helmets with birds or animals and chainmail shirts. The same items are also visually depicted on various objects, such as the Gundestrup cauldron, Denmark, but archaeological finds of such kind has so far been few.

Subsequent diggings at Ciumesti unearthed 35 Celtic tombs, six of which were inhumation tombs and 29 cremation tombs. The Celts used to incinerate their dead and bury their remains along with funerary vessels, offering vessels and personal belongings of metal or bronze. Most of the times, they items would bear the sign of having been burned in fire.

'The most sensational archaeological artefact in the entire Celtic world is undoubtedly the helmet of Ciumesti, unique in the world. It belonged to a Celtic chieftain who was quite tall. Such helmets are depicted on Celtic vessels discovered in Bulgaria, Germany and Denmark, but they are only visual depictions. A real helmet is the one found at Ciumesti absolutely by chance when a foundation was being dug for the stables of the then agricultural cooperative. Several inhumation and incineration tombs were also found. What is interesting about the artefacts is that they belonged to various cultures. The bronze greaves are Greek, which strengthens the idea that Celts in the 3rd century B.C. used to work as mercenaries for the Asia Minor kings. This warrior of Ciumesti with this miraculously preserved helmet might have been the ruler of mercenaries that would travel Europe at the time,' says Director of the Satu Mare Creation Centre Felician Pop, author of 'Istoria secreta a Satmarului,' (The secret history of Satu Mare).

Most probably, the chieftain raised mercenary armies for the Greek area of the Mediterranean Sea, proved by the discoveries that also included Hellenic wine vessels and coins.

Celts would set a high price on physical looks in battles: they would wear metal helmets, their hair long and frequently lime dipped to keep it pointy, as well as chainmail shirts and they would give out shrieks to intimidate their opponents, having built in time an image of rough and invincible warriors. That is how they got to conquer and control huge swaths of land from France to today's north-western Romania and southern Ukraine. Researchers allege that the Celts would play a very important part in the occupied western parts of Romania and mercenaries would probably be hired there for various armies, but there are not sufficient studies so far for a sure conclusion. Another aspect that enhances the mystery is the fact that the Celts would not leave behind them written testimonies, and so researchers have to study them from references made by other people about the grate warriors.

'The finds in Satu Mare County regarding the civilisation of Celts are spectacular and new evidence is brought to light each year of a strong Celtic presence in the county. The inhumation tomb of Petresti is one of the largest Celtic cemeteries ever found and more careful and systematic research could reveal the role and importance of the Celtic civilisation. We know perfectly clear that Burebista in the 80s B.C. fought against Celts, Boii and Taurisci here, spreading the Dacian kingdom to today's Germany. The helmet is a unique artefact, a symbol of the county, of the local's heroism that has been handed down for generations,' says Felician Pop.

Each year brings new and significant discoveries, including a metallurgic centre of free Dacians at Iojib, close to the Dacian kilns of Mediesu Aurit, the largest such centre in Barbarian Europe, so it will be no surprise if also by chance more surprising findings will follow to cast light on all that has been believed about the past of the region and particularly of its peoples.
