I'm talking about Marina Ripa di Meana (born Marina Elide Punturieri), an Italian TV personality and stylist, who was know for her flamboyant fancy style.
She was born and raised in Reggio Calabria, the deep south of Calabria (Southern Italy).

If I saw her on the street my best guess would be that she is French.. but there's nothing surprising about her being from Southern Italy.
