This is the "Moorish" that I am talking about: http://humanphenotypes.net/Moorish.html
I know a Greek guy that can pass as Moorish. Of course he doesn't share the skin colour.

The name "Moor" seems to have been assigned to that phenotype based on the mistaken belief that the term originally referred to people from modern day Mauritania and Western Sahara (Mauritanians and Western Saharans are the same people) who used the dominant phenotype in that country as representative of the phenotype "Moorish".
Anyways, the term "Moorish" as used in taxonomy is a recent thing and not one used outside of these forums. The term "Moorish/Moor" originally referred to modern day Moroccans (Morocco was historically called "Mauritania") and then later to Muslims in general.
