Default Is there Brazilian music similar to this Congolese song?

When I hear it I think of Brazil for some reason and I wonder if there is similar Brazilian music.

Brazilian music uses many Afro-Caribbean rhythms, originally from Africa. That would be the only similarity.

Sounds like music from Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde. Must be a West African thing. Music from Angola sounds different. Anyway, there are many different Brazilian music styles and they were certainly influenced by the music of slaves from different parts of Africa.

    Guinea-Bissau

    Cape Verde

Cape Verdean music is very different from the Congolese music. Compare that to this:

A funny fact, these african musics tend to be very rich melodically, in Brazil we lack creativity in this area.
