I think men find balance in their life with a woman by their side, and vice versa. Sure you can live your whole life alone, but I think a lot of men benefit (especially emotionally) from having (the right) female influence in their life. Having someone that feels like home is one of the best things about life in my opinion.

People are saying that ahvinf a partner is part of the human nature, maybe yes but it is not necessary. Humans are also rational and individualist, humans can and know how to live without partners, obviously.
