Robert Spencer has been banned by Britain for saying that Islam has doctrines of warfare against non-believers, which is like saying the 'sky is blue'. Islam does have such doctrines (ex. jihad) but truth was not a defense.

He is the author of 18 books. His last book is the History of Jihad from Muhammad to ISIS, in which Robert tells the entire history of jihad for 1400 centuries.

Robert Spencer was a Melkite Greek Catholic Christian, now Greek Orthodox.
His grandparents are from what is now Turkey, in a Greek populated part of Anatolia.
His grandparents were exhiled from the former Ottoman Empire, for declining the invitation to join Islam. (they were given an order, either convert or flee or die).
