I am curious what relationship modern Albanians have towards Islam.
I know Albanians are proud of their ethnicity; just like Armenians.
I would like to read responses from Albanian users on Apricity.

They need to come back to Jesus. Despite what I said in another thread less than an hour ago that Christianity is full of a lot of hippy stuff. Most forms of Christianity has a calming effect on communities. Even those Westboro Baptist Church weirdos are tame. They're annoying by protesting the funerals of dead soldiers and etc. but they don't actually do anything to anyone except be annoying.

That's the only benefit of Christianity. It has a code of conduct that allows for social stability.

I don't understand the appeal of Islam even if you're born into it. If someone came out of a cave and told me he was a prophet of God, I'd naturally think he was a crazy person. When all his actions and views are dependent on the situation and just happen to be self serving, I'd think the guy was just a manipulative asshole trying to bang my female relatives and to get me to kill people who laughed at him.

Keep in mind, however, that Catholicism and Orthodoxy are likewise important in the Albanian context..

The Albanians I have met were more proud of their Atheist history under Communism than Islam.

1. Albanians are not collectively Muslims, so your question doesn't make sense. Your question would be better suited if aimed at Bosniaks.

2. Albania was the first atheist country in the world and still remains as one of the most irreligious countries in the world.
