Yes but the Byzantine Empire was not an Armenian Empire though there have been some Emperors and Aristocrats of Armenian extraction.

Good for them.
But the common history of the Christian Church starts with the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. Until then there were no established and agreed upon rules for the priesthood in the Christian world. Of course, Christians existed before that, but not a common Church.

Don't confuse clear heresies with Christianity.. Don't confuse "greek Language" with nationality..

In Palestine there were 4 main languages.. Latin.. Greek... Aramaic and hebrew..... but 90% of the people living there were Jews...
