I actually heard that American Muslims are apparently more liberal than the ones in Europe.

They are. It's because it's easier to integrate into American society, which is a very inclusive identity that promotes including a lot of people of various backgrounds. Thus, the Muslims here feel like they belong and feel part of America.

Islam and Christianity are extremely similar, whether rightists will admit it or not. Conservative Muslims and Conservative Christians have the same values, I'm surprised they dont get along lol.

I don't care who comes to North America. I've never felt it's a land for one type of person. If you can make your life here by yourself then you can stay.
Who immigrates to western European countries is a different story though.

There’s less Muslims in USA percentage wise. For example, 1% of USA population is Muslim, whilst 5% of UK is. Is that enough to “show their true colours” or might there be another variable in play?

The problem is not "religious fundamentalism"; or "religious extremism" it is Islam and Islamism *political Islam*.
It is not "extreme" that adulterers and homosexuals are to be put to death. It is central to Islamic Law, not fringe.
Or what about Apostacy? Isam is the only modern religion which kills peope for leaving it. Both the Quran and the Hadith mention killing apostates.
Islam gives Muslims the right to take sex slaves: involves rape and slavery; two abominations. Just look at the Islamic State (ISIS).
Islam gives Muslims the right to steal the non-Muslims' property. In other words, Islam does not instill any work ethic.
In Islamic Law, men are allowed to marry underage girls: pedophilia; because Muhammad was a pedophile; He consummated his marriage with Aisha when she was 9 and he was over 50.

And I would like to be at your cocktail party and walk in as conservative white. Hopefully you would include me. The left in the USA is a collection of anything that is not white male christian for the most part.

It's not that theres less muslims in the US, it's just that they make up a smaller percentage of our population. You have to remember that we have a much larger population than the UK. 1% of the US' population means that there is around 3 million muslims here. 5% of UK's population also equals around 3 million muslims, so theres roughly an equal amount in both countries.
