Bumpy autobahn, slow internet, slow everything. It looks like all the resources and time is used on dealing with refugees. Meanwhile Germany is losing it's edge on technology and perks. Oh boy oh boy

Germany's 4G mobile network one of worst in Europe
Germany is well behind its European neighbors when it comes to coverage with high-performance mobile network technology, a study shows. And data rates could do with improvement too.

Germany has worse LTE (4G) mobile phone network coverage than many of its European neighbors, according to a study by the Aachen-based consulting firm P3 that was seen by Agence France-Presse (AFP).
The study, commissioned by parliamentarians from the Green party, shows that Germany also has some catching up to do with regard to data rates, with countries such as Poland and Albania offering better services overall.

Berlin's flourishing tech scene attracts talent from across the globe. At a startup incubator in the western part of the city, an international team recently launched an app called SPRT, which connects sports enthusiasts.
Amy Cooper, a 20-year-old SPRT employee who moved to Germany from Britain last June, complains that Berlin's Internet speed is so slow, it feels like the old dial-up days she has heard her parents reminisce about.
"We're working in a coworking office where there's loads of startups, everything's online," Cooper says. "We use it every second of the day, so it's important for us that it works and that it's reliable. And most of the time, it's not, and that can be really frustrating."
Germany is Europe's largest economy, but business leaders warn it is in danger of losing its edge because of sluggish Internet connections. While other countries are thinking about whether to upgrade their cellphone systems to 5G, Germany is still grappling with 3G.

Its perhaps because in previous 30 years Germany was at its recent history's productivity peak (all areas included), now they hit the bottom low, so in future they'll reach their realistic margin, kind of like in the hype cycle graph:

Failing education system, failing law and order policy, the last generation that witnessed our previous good education system is close to retire, hordes of 3rd world immigrants suprisingly not being rocket scientists and alot of educated Germans leaving this shithole.

Germany is still in position to do great in future. They have big population, geographically optimal for business and trade, and clearly when they are on their game, they get shit done. But it really does look like they have been halfassing some stuff in recent years.

Germany is likely now in recession. I love Germany and think they are great but Germany is not known to be an innovative economy like the USA, Japan, and South Korea. I cannot think of many companies like Apple,Microsoft, Tweeter,Facebook,Sony, Samsung in Germany. There economy is more industrial and manufacturing based. They need to transition more into an innovative service economy to be competitive with the rising stars of East and South Asia. An economy that focuses on manufacturing is not going to be enough in this global economy. I do see they are starting to transition away from Diesel cars and focusing on electric that is a good move for them but they are behind Japan and the USA in this field. There focus on Diesel cars was a big mistake.

I disagree with that. Japan and the USA have a high standard of living. It is much harder for a country of 300 million(USA) and 125 million(Japan) to achieve a high standard of living compared to a smaller country like Germany. Lets not forget Eastern Germany is some area has a Eastern Europe per capita and standard of living it is improving but it is still an issue the differences of the Rich West Germany vs East Germany.

Productivity studies vary. I have seen studies that Rank France and the USA higher than Germany in productivity. Japan certainly has the most reliable automobiles Toyota always outranks everyone else.
