Tell me something.... Those ticos are good people? Are middle class? Commit crime? The girls are cute? In your opinion and in bass your observation. Costa Rica culture is more influenced by amerindian or african side?

Yeah...most of them are middle class and educated and very different from other Central American immigrants. I've never heard of a Costa Rican in a gang in my life. The ones in my state are usually Mestizo, Tri-racial, and White while the ones in Brooklyn are usually Black or Mulato looking. It's kind of funny how they differ.

This area(Bound Brook) is the Tico capital of the U.S.:

I thought Los Angeles had the biggest Costa Rican population in the US (and possibly the world, outside CR itself)?

LA's a big city so it might. But Costa Ricans are better represented in NY/NJ and Miami/South Florida.

Bound Brook has the highest % wise.

Alguien sabe qué se hizo el thread donde estudiaban a los latinoamericanos con más 5% de ascendencia afro y sus respectivos porcentajes (el % que componían dentro del total de la población de sus países)?
