No, he's right. Bulgaria has lower cephalic index than West Balkans.

Typical Bulgarian but not Pontid. She's Atlantid + CM.
Edgabe gave the best explanation. Pontids have higher and broader foreheads than Atlanto-Meds. Pontid jaw is weaker and the browridge is less developed than in Atlanto-Meds. Pontid occiput is different from the Atlanto spectrum. Pontids proper are exclusively brown-eyed (North Pontids often have light eyes though), while Atlanto-Meds can have light eyes.
