Proud to be White

Hey Guys.
I recently had a discussion with my girlfriend. She said that it was no problem to be proud of ones black skin color, or to be proud for being Asian. But it has "another meaning" to be proud of ones white skin color, because it has "a different story". By that she meant that white people were superior and they suppressed the other races . That's why it's not okay to be proud of his white skin color, but the pride of the other races would be "different".
What do you say to that? What are your arguments against it - or for it?
In the end, she said that any pride in a skin color would be nonsense, but white pride is the least understood for her.

Race is more than skin color. Whites are responsible for most human achievements so it's natural to be proud to be white.
