In DNA.LAND would be about 58% North Slavic and 42% South European for my wife theoretically. I guess it is some Balkanite-like estimation? I haven't seen too many many DNA.LAND results.

I have seen Poles scoring up to 30-40% South European in DNA Land, but it was mostly Balkan (not South/Central), and those were South-Eastern Poles.

Maybe Balkan + NW / SW Euro (your wife should have it if she is partially from Cuiavia and Wielkopolska) was conflated and reported as South/Central Euro.

IIRC their South/Central is based on North Italians.

58% North Slavic + 21% Balkan + 21% NW Euro would make more sense for someone half from Lvov-Zamosc and half from Wielkopolska-Cuiavia.

They probably merged Balkan and NW Euro and reported it as South/Central Euro.

But what could cause it? Armenian ancestry can rather be ruled out, based on K36 you posted.

I get 8% Asia Minor, I believe it to be misidentified SE Europe in my case:

Yes, Asia Minor must be false signal in FTDNA.

Interesting. I got 11% Asian Minor on FTDNA which I didn't get on other test. It also gave me only 23% British Isles when I know I'm at least 50% Irish. This test seem to be the most inaccurate of all the tests I took. It's way off on a number of levels.

Is there a reason you guys test with ftdna? Is there a difference in raw data or something? Just curious (:
I uploaded my ancestry dna data on there and wasn't very impressed, not sure if actually ordering the test would make a big difference.
