I’m guessing you don’t know much about either ethnicity. Croats are Central European and Cubans are Caribbean with ancesty Spaniard , Native American and African ancestry

Thats possible. Especially at the Dalmatian Coast and Istria are a few Mediterranean Croats, which could have some similarities to lighter cubans.

Maybe you meant not Cubans, but Kubanoids? There are many possible intersections with Croats in appearance.
