To answer the question of the OP, based on the scientific facts from mister Coon's book:
Both the Brits and the Irish are most close to the Norwegians.
Scandos are a group of populations and Swedes are more Eastern shifted and Danes more southern shifted.

Very interesting discussion both on Eurogenes and Anthrogenica re the Dutch and British Bell Beakers being an offshoot of a Corded Ware group. All the British ones are R1b-L21 but the British and Dutch Bell Beakers are virtually identical.
