Istanbul are mostly Arab immigrants now

Central Asian influence in Turks is understandable. As for Iranic types - maybe they were Kurds.

Spaniards are also non-Greek like. But excluding these 20% of Turks who look very Greek, Spaniards pass better in Greece than the remaining 80% of Turks I have seen in Istanbul. Based on my travels, the ones who are most similar to Greeks are Central and South Italians.

Naah, there were some Kurds as well, but most were Turks. They were not pure Iranics, but they had a dominant Iranic component along woth some Central Asian.

In my opinion, Greeks can fit in any part of Europe South of the Alps

Do you think that Greeks, or South Italy regions, pass better among Iberians? Or neither?

Greeks due to fewer Dinaridoid features as a whole, in my opinion.

Southern mainland Greeks (who have, collectively, the least Slavic or Near Eastern input) look closest to Iberians I think.
