At least for Athens where I have been some times Greeks over there looked like Italians,Spanish and some like Turks.

Turks for sure and perhaps Albanians (more Dinarid shifted), Bulgaria has also more typical slavic types so it's only true for a part of the population. Grosso modo I think Greeks resemble more other southern European populations such as Italians and Iberians wich are also predominantly Mediterranean.
