Central Italians (Tuscany, Marche, Umbria and partially Latium) resemble more North Italians but with a bit more of purer Med types and less Alpinoid\Sub Nordoids. Tuscans plot almost with Emilians and Ligurians so they are even more similar to North Italians than people from Marche, Umbria and part of Latium.
Leave alone pics taken in Google images, they are not representative at all.
I can tell that despite many Greeks can pass in Central Italy many have a Balkan vibe that would make them stick out hence they are not very intercheangable as many people here think. Just my two cents.
