In the world as a whole, are there more Whites of British Isles descent or of Iberian descent?

This is a serious, non-trollish question. On the one hand, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are predominantly White countries, whereas most parts of Latin America are not. On the other hand, Latin America as a whole has around 100 million more people than do North America and Oceania combined. So, what is the probable answer?

I would say Iberian descent. Look at the population of Mexico and Brazil alone? Not sure why people think British Isles when the US is the only really large population and how many Americans are of British Isles descent? Even in the US a lot of Latinos are of Iberian descent. All the other countries like Australia, Canada, New Zealand etc would only number about 50 million and they aren't all of British Isles descent.

The problem with your theory is that Mexico is only around 10% White (phenotypically, genetically Mexico isn't even 5% White) and in Brazil many Whites are of non-Iberian descent. Mexico has 130 million people, if we consider at least 10% of them White it gives us 13 million people, it's not too much.

Brazil has a 200 million population and pure Iberians would be no more than 20%. If you include people with Iberian + some other White ancestry then you have more people, but if you do this you would need to include all of the American ''Euro mutts'' as of ''British descent'', so the number of Whites of British descent would certainly be bigger.

British isles descent. But, if the question on OP is changed to "Are there more people of iberian descent or british isles decent?" - the answer would be iberian. Even an almost pure native bolivian or peruvian has at least 5% of spanish blood. Blacks, Whites, Pardos, Mestizos, everybody in Latin America have some degree of Iberian heritage.
