Those who migrate to America need some kind of visa to live there legally, so the citizenship is almost irrelevant. A couple of friends of mine went to the US under a Work and Travel program last summer (winter in the US), and they did it with their Argentine passport, and not the Italian one. However, when travelling as tourist, the European passport is better due to the fact that you don’t need a Visa to enter as tourist.
In the case of Israel it’s different from other countries. Most (almost all) of the Argentines that migrate to Israel are Jewish. They migrate with their Argentine passport, and when in Israel they apply for Israeli citizenship under the ”law of return”, or take up residence if they don’t want to become citizens. A friend of my brother did it that way, and after checking it on Wikipedia I’ve confirmed that that’s how it works.

Yep, as both of us would use our Italian passport in order to take up residence. We wouldn’t be counted as Argentines on the official figures.
I’ve thought about it since I want to go live there for at least a few months in the coming years. I’m really thankful for having Italian ancestors and the Jure Sanguinis principle lol

The most Latin Americans outside of Latin America, aside from the US and Spain? I'm not sure how to process this.
Ok I think I understand now. I'd be interested in knowing the total for all Latin American countries. I guess I understand the OP question now. I apologize.

A friend of mine moved to Spain last year with his German citizenship, and he told me that there’s a lot of bureaucracy, but nothing compared to Argentina. You just have to “empadronarte” and apply for your NIE (it’s like a DNI for foreigners), as well as requesting your social security number. It took him a month.
If you don’t have a European citizenship, well the process is much different. Idk how it is, but youl’ll need some kind of visa first.

Canada or Italy, depending on each Latin American country.
