I2a1b in Montenegro mostly originated from Bosnia and Herzegovina. When Ottomans conquered BiH some Serb moved from BiH to Montenegrin mountains.
For example Ozrinići Serbian clan from Old Montenegro are I2-PH908 and they came to Montenegro from Neretva river in 15th century

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neretva

    Novak Đoković is Ozrinić.

Drobnjaci (I1-P109) came to Durmitor mountain from Travnik in central Bosnia in late 14th or early 15th century https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drobnj..._early_history

Not synonim, Rascia just was greatest and most important Serbian principiality.

    Serbian, by Porfitogenit.
Porphyrogenitus and other Greek sources are not really a confirmation of anything. Byzantines were barely able to differ Croats and Serbs. Skylitzes writes about Serbs whom they also call Croats, Zonaras writes about Croats whom they also Serbs, the same as with Kedrenos and some other historians and they all had access to the DAI. Venetian ambassador returning from Bulgaria in 1912 says he passed through some Croatian lands before reaching Hum. Similar thing is implied by Skylitzes.

There is also theory that Ozrinići came to Montenegro from central Bosnia.

Ozrinići have match in y dna with Catholic Vučić from Mostar, and because of that it's most likely they came from Neretva river.
