Default Which in reality is the biggest Italian city outside Italy?

I've seen it being disputed between New York, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. So, which is it?

Buenos Aires. Italian-Americans are mostly fake Italians with Jewish, MENA or Puerto Rican ancestry.
Italian-Brazilians are mostly part-Iberian or part German.

I'm sure culturally and racially Italians from Argentina are the purest, especially because they found a less stablished mainstream culture and less populous country among Argentinians.

Perhaps, but in terms of first and second-generation immigrants, as opposed to those with more distant Italian ancestry, which of the three cities is likely to be the leader?

There's no difference if an immigrant came in the 19th century or two days ago if he's not mixed.

Buenos Aires has the most Italian vibe of the three and is certainly a more European city when compared to New York or São Paulo. New York is a black ghetto with some Whites and São Paulo has any single shit you can think of.

In general population probably São Paulo has the most ''Italians'' tho. Even some nibbas and pardos there are part-Italian.

New York is actually as or more varied than Sao Paulo is - it is around 30% (non-Hispanic) White, 25% Hispanic, 25% (non-Hispanic) Black, 15% Asian/Pacific Islander and 5% other groups.

In terms of sheer numbers of people with Italian ancestry? Probably SP, BA, NY in that order.

In this case probably New York then, specifically the borough of Brooklyn (Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge are two neighborhoods there with large Italian-American communities).

25% Hispanics include thousands of Dominicans, Puerto Ricans and other Afro-Latinos, plus 25% Aframs then you have an almost 50% black city. São Paulo also has a pretty big Black population, but true Blacks are probably around 20%. What they have a lot is pardos of triracial ancestry, like European + Indigenous/Black.

I would say only around 50% of São Paulo is made of Whites, of these maybe 30% have some Italian ancestry but generally mixed with other groups like colonial Portuguese, Spanish, Lebanese or some Northern European ethnicity. Some pardos also carry Italian ancestry, so maybe around 40% of the population is of Italian descent.

In the future we will see Italo-Bolivians most likely since the city is flooded by Bolivian immigrants.
