The city of Los Angeles is actually really small though, the actual majority is probably white, but they do dwell in outer cities who are considered Los Angeles in the county.

LA city is even more Asian and Hispanic than LA county is - it is only the latter that includes the wealthy coastal suburbs/cities of Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica etc.

Really that would mean that they wouldn't be rare to see. I still haven't meet any ticos and I frequently go the los Angeles area. They aren't a numerous group and are one of the rarer Latin Americans to see.
