Is the name "Mazovians" also of Baltic origin in your opinion?

Mazovians are Baltic-shifted genetically compared to other Poles, but maybe it is just due to their geographical proximity to Prussians, Sudovians and Lithuanians.

There is no data about "Mazowsze" in modern Eastern Baltic languages. For those which are extinct, we don't know. So etymology is attributed to Lechitic group of Slavs.

And on what basis do you think that ethnonym "Veleti" has Baltic etymology?

Veleti is Slavic name, but i read somewhere that autonym for Lyutichi was Wilzen.

Wilzen is apparently a German word, probably "phonetic representation" of Lechitic word Wilcy, meaning Wolfs or Wolf-men.

North Sea Germanic dialects exist. I wonder how North Sea Slavic would have been like. With the Polskość expanding to the Low Countries and England such a Lechitic-based variant might emerge one day.
I see Poles everywhere whenever I'm in Flushing or Goes.

Etymology sometimes can not be precisely classified. There are interpretations where it turned out to be Baltic ethnonym, and also where it could be Slavic, since Wilcy was also presented in Old Lithuanian. It is not excluded that Veleti had some substratum Baltic influence, such as it had eastern Slavic tribes, precisely Krivichi and Radimichi, because they covered the area where Baltic hydronyms are presented, and it is huge area of Eastern/Central Europe.
