Aren't Pontid and North Pontid are basically the same types?

Core populations of both Pontid and North Pontid are Eastern Europe but somehow they both extend to East Med and Caucasus regions. They both are long headed and tall types. Their facial features are similar and they both have intermediate pigmentation.
