Mortiis is also nice. More of a dark ambient musician, but also did black metal.

Wow... I can't believe America's Dio is not on the list. That's unbelievable and a disgrace that he isn't included in the vote options. SMH.
Many top metal vocalists have frequently paid tribute to Dio in concerts, and many leading metal artists often call Dio as being the greatest ever metal vocalist.
He's known as, 'The little man with the powerful big voice!'
Dio also made the rock-on \,,/ \m/ symbol famous at rock and metal concerts.
R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. His powerful singing voice was breathtaking. \,,/
Ronnie James Dio is the best singer ever. Rust in peace mastermanthis has to go down as one of the heaviest fucking songs ever recordedRONNIE JAMES DIO KING OF THE HEAVY METAL,ROCK.HARD ROCK,GREATEST VOCALIST.

Great vocalist (may he rest in peace!). The format limits me and I wrote 59 names from various genres who have impressed me but still great vocalists like Dio, Dee Snider, Johan Edlund, Sebastian Bach didn't come to my mind while writing.
This just shows how unique and truly diverse metal music is.
I intentionally left an "Other" option for all not included in the poll.

Lemmy Kilmister (a.k.a. 'The Godfather of Metal'.... because like many leading metal artists have stated... 'without Lemmy - there would be no metal music today... no Guns 'N' Roses, no Metallica, no Iron Maiden, no Nine Inch Nails,' etc.)
R.I.P. badass Lemmy. This is the loudest ever song which made the world records. He had a mean n' gravel-like voice.
In this rockumentary.... it's shown how Lemmy and his band Motörhead defined two new genres of metal music.
