Polynesian DNA in South Asians

So I have been watching a number of DNA testing videos, and whenever South Asian people have their DNA tested it seems that a majority of them score at least a small amount of Polynesian. This to me is very interesting, doesn anyone have any idea as to why that may be?

Well, the point is that Indians are partly descended from Onge-like Negrito groups.

And this is also the case with your question - Polynesians have Indian-like DNA.

I am not so sure about that because Polynesian DNA markers recognized by results are those inherited from Taiwanese aboriginals which look nothing like australoids or negritos and are far removed from them.

Well this is a classic "chicken or egg" dilemma - what was first?

I don't think that Indians have actual Polynesian admixture. It is shared ancestry.

And it is either Onge-like (Andaman-like) shared ancestry, or shared Mongoloid ancestry (North-East Indians have some Mongoloid).

I am half Indian, my mum had some Polynesian DNA with AncestryDNA actually but it was only like 2%. My 23andme test didn't show any for me though.

Taiwanese Aboriginals in Eurogenes K36 score: Malayan, Indo-Chinese, South Chinese (some of them also minor East Asian).
