Those won't act. Kammenos failed to bring down the government, and Golden Dawn is currently in cahoots with SYRIZA for keeping them out of jail.

Ionian islands and Eastern Euboia (kymi)

Composing both genetics and historical facts they are the closest to ancient Greeks, with less slavic, Frankish and near Eastern admixture than anyone else

it's hard to know the part of levantine admixture that pre-dates Greek arrival (and so it can be considered part of "ancient Greek" ancestry in Cyprus and some parts of Greece) and separate it from the levantine admixture that was added later, like slavic or Frankish in other cases did

Why the Ionian Islanders? Aren't they genetically the same as the average Mainland Greek?

*almost the same, but with no slavic admixture, the same goes for cyclades and most of north aegean, and that's reflected on the gap between baltic+Eastern Euro and Atlantic+north sea (the latter two are more common in most of Greece, but the gap is even bigger in the islands)

slavic admixture is not the only reason that mainland differs from places like dodecanese or, mainly Eastern, Crete
