For medical purposes - 100 % yes. If it helps to people with serious health issues it makes no sense not let it be legal and I have to ask myself - why is that such an issue. I didn't want to believe it was a lobby of the pharmaceutical industry but after I saw prices of the herb in countries where it is legal I think that the option is possible. It is very easy to grow marijuana - no other rational reason why is that so expensive than the pharmaceutical industry has long fingers.


As it goes for use for personal purposes - I would say yes if I was convinced that a society is ready for that, that people (especially those with lower IQ and very young people) are responsible enough not to overuse it (again it is proven that if it is used by eg men too much they have serious issues with erection eg). And yes, I think that some societies are responsible enough for marijuana legalization.
I am sure that the tobacco industry, alcohol industry, but also governments (because of taxes from tobacco and alcohol - once again everybody is able to grown own marijuana) as well as black market (drug dealers) will not be happy about the legalization.

Shouldnt be sold commercially with encouragement to use but rather should be legalised with information explaining the risks or potential side effects etc.

Yes, the legalisation of cannabis for any purpose, medicinal or leisure, is long overdue.

Heroin is used medically, so what's the big deal about using some cannabis extract medically as well. Call it something else if you want but if it has a medical application then use it.

Equally, the 'war on drugs' has been lost, so legalise it for recreational use too, licence and tax sales. It lowers crime rate, gives people another opportunity to make a business, puts money back in the economy.
