He annoyed everyone as high functioning autists tend to do. The only reason he never got beat up was because his older sister was well liked. His older sister was normal.

If you mean the scenario of an uncommunicative autistic parent - I posted, it was about an early childhood trauma/freak out/panic of a child who became a Narcissist.

Another Narcissist had an absent father and an unavailable mother, not because she was autistic, but because she was an alcoholic. And when the father was present, he would ‘favour’ the weakest child - the least intelligent, attractive, talented one, to encourage the child, I’m sure, but well … I am not a psychologist, but when the obsessive-compulsive blind fear-panic competitiveness button about attention-feed gets pushed, it is frightening to see.

Or when an attractive narcissist mirroring her charm (control) through the eyes of others gets no feedback – well ….. a narcissist will become highly suspicious and full of fear-paranoia.
Perhaps the person who wasn’t charmed was an autistic person, who simply quite child-like innocently does not understand this “mirroring yourself through the eyes of others” business, but here no empathy is given and the other person is now seen and labelled by the narcissist as a potentially ‘dangerous’ person.



A lot of people do mix up narcissistic personality disorder with autism.
Both are developmental problems, I guess.
Both wear ‘masks’, but for entirely different reasons.
Aspies do have empathy (although it manifests differently) narcissists do not.

So whilst we are on the subject:


It is good to learn to understand these different (diagnostic) patterns to a certain degree at least.

Yes, and nobody claimed so. I stated that there are especially many at TA - which is commonly agreed on.

I noted that you are not disliked by everyone. But this is technically also necessary for sustainlingly being able to carry out your sadistic and maliscious needs. If you would do that towards everybody you were soon kicked out and your special joy would be over.

Your imagination is wrong and this assessment is not based on my own perception of such autists (which you probably would quickly declare skewed and not valid). I'm in a number of social media groups and in a group with abt. 3000 members abt. half of the much active people with hard core autistic traits (n = 3) do annoy and half (n = 3) do not but are even appreciated as for their particularly valuable and informative contributions. One is even holding lectures and people are sharing and recommending his explanation videos. I personally don't like him because he's mentally somewhat pussylike when it comes to discussions but he is commonly liked.
