I think there are some cases where these perversions stem from lack of understanding for such individuals. They are often hypersensitive and unappreciated.

Is that not due to bad upbringing and education? The average human is neutral, if a child shows inclination towards bad, is that not the result of his environment? Raising him in a city as opposed to the countryside likely makes a difference.

In fact, many children in Orthodox churches report actually seeing angels.

The demons despise this, and the people who are possessed by these evil beings seek to destroy anything holy that remains in this broken and pitiful planet.

It's nothing personal with "Satan", they just want to retain their power. It's their accomplices who can't bear such a sight.
