White? Sure. If white means caucasoid, I am maybe 1 or 2% not caucasoid so of course. If it means European then probably not, with or without these results. Genetically I am in between most of Europe and most of the Levant. Culturally I'm mostly non-European, and was born and raised outside of Europe. If anything I would say me (and in fact all Ashkenazi Jews) are neither white nor brown, neither European nor Middle Eastern. But somewhere in between.

Why does it make you envious?

Because being Mizrahi I'm obviously more Middle Eastern that you or any other Ashkenazi for that matter, but while I'm predominantly Middle Eastern I can't pinpoint all (or tbh can't even estimate how much exactly) of my Middle Eastern ancestry is actually Hebrew, while in your case while being "only" 50% Middle Eastern (which is significant) the entirety of this ancestry is undoubtedly Hebrew.

לא רוצה להיות זה ש״כיף איתו במסיבות״ אבל תכלס הדת-מסורת-היסטוריה זה הדבר היחידי שמגבש אותנו כאומה.
בלי זה סתם היינו מדינה רב תרבותית כמו ארה״ב או קנדה או משהו בסגנון.
גם ככה כל עדה והתרבות שלה, המנהגים שלה ואפילו הפנוטיפים הפיזיים שלה.
כי תכלס כולנו מעורבבים עם איפה שהיינו ואם אבות אבותינו לא היו מזדהים עם ארץ ישראל ועם הדת היהודית הקשר בין התפוצות בכלל לא היה קיים היום..
זה בכלל די מרשים שלא התבוללנו לגמרי. תכלס עוד כמה דורות בגולה בעיקר בעידן האתאיזם והיהודים כעם כבר היו נטמעים לגמרי.

סתם. אתה צודק לגבי ההיסטוריה והתבוללות, אבל אני לא ממש מסכים על הפונטיפים ותזכור שהדבר היחידי שמגבש כל אומה

לגבי הגנטיקה זה לא משנה, כמובן שלא ניתן להגדיר יהודים כעם אחד גנטי, אפילו אם כן מחשיבים ירעקי ופולני כקרובים מספיק יש אתיופים והודים שבכל לא קשורים.

מצידי כל בן אדם שמוכן להגדיר את עצמו כיהודי למרות כל החרא שעברנו ושאנחנו ממשיכים לעבור הוא יהודי לכל דבר
